So, I've been wanting to work on my plyometric jumping lately and was researching increasing verticals. Don't laugh; it ain't funny. I just look so damn awesome when I keep adding to my leaps. Too bad I do them at home where no one can see the circus in my room alone so I can focus.
Anyways, I came across this guy, stretchexpert, on youtube. When I watched the first video (I can't recall which one), I was thinking, "What kinda random guy is this and what the heck does he know?"
Then I watched another, and another, and about 10 more after that. If I saw this guy now, I'd apologize for pre-judging him (I'm an ass) because he really does know his stuff. He seems to specialize in injury prevention, stretching, recovery...and increasing verticals, of course. He's not egotistical; he's not arrogant. Best of all, he takes simple approaches to everything, is passionate about what he believes in and is very much in tune with all aspects of the body and how it works. Most "experts" don't touch on the things he does. I've been trying these "2-second stretches" that he talks about, too. I've been doing some of them all along (but never called it that) just because they make my back/legs feel better. I've watched way too many of these vids, but if anyone is interested, check him out.
